Lapelloy “C” is a high-temperature martensitic steel that is both exceptionally heat and corrosion resistant.
Typical uses for Lapelloy include turbine and aircraft components, medical instruments, and cutlery. Lapelloy is mainly Chromium based, with molybdenum and manganese being the other major chemical properties. Standard specification for Lapelloy C is SAE J 467.
